having a conversation with my family over dinner once, about how horses have 'socks', and how funny my horse slick looks because he is missing one. Dad retold a story of when we first got him. We took him home and i got to sit on him while i helped Dad brush his mane, and when i got down i noticed 'little white stripes' on his legs, i tried to brush them off, but they wouldnt buge. By then i had gotten worried, and dad laughed and reasured me that slick was wearing socks and that he was missing one though. tThen that was it, i broke down into tears saying that it wasnt fair that he only had 3 socks, and that i was going to yell at the previous owners for forgetting to give it to us. hahaha...
